Where can I park?
You can arrive by car to the Planetarium and find parking on Gl. Kongevej, Vester Søgade and Kampmannsgade.
There are also several indoor parking facilities in the area.
Disabled parking spaces are available on Gl. Kongevej right in front of the Planetarium.

The Dome
Europe’s largest tiltet enclosing Dome – sharp visualization in 8K and with an unparalleled sound.
The doors to the cinema open approx. 5 minutes before the show begins.
Lockers
Lockers are located inside Planetarium close to the entrance. They are available at a price of DKK 10,00 or 1 EUR.
Once the locker is opened there is no refund. We are not able to guarantee availability, if we have many visitors.
Elevator
We have one elevator up to the Dome which is available to all.
Space journey
Film performances in the Dome begin with a space journey.
Toilets
All toilets are all located on the group floor close to the exit – here we have both men’s, ladies and toilets for the disabled.
Accessible toilets
A changing space is also available in the handicap toilet. The accessible toilet is mainly for disabled people and guest who need to use the changing tables.
Guided tour and activities
During selected weekends and school holidays, we offer guided tours and fun activities.
Age limit
We do not recommend our Dome to children under the age of 3.
In addition, there may be certain age restrictions already set by the Media Council.
Danish Narration
Almost all our films are in Danish. There are however some, for example Apollo 11 which is only shown in English.
Check the description of each movie, here you will also find information about the length of the movie.
English Narration
Headsets with English translation of our films in the dome are available at the ticket office.
There is a deposit of DKK 50 per headset which is refundable on return of the headset to our ticket office.
The length of the film
Under each film you can see the exact length of each individual film. Here you will also find a description of the film, information about the film’s narration and possibly age limits.
Special Needs facilities
The Planetarium offers accessible toilets, an elevator and three wheelchairs spaces in the Dome. We have a wheelchair available for use in the Planetarium, however as we only have one we would recommend if possible that you have your own wheelchair with you. If you have booked a guided tour we have headsets which fit over your hearing aid.
Accompanying carers
Special needs people visiting with a companion card from the Danish Disability Organizations may be accompanied by one person without charge. The card must be presented to the ticket desk at the entrance.
Guide dogs are welcome inside the Planetarium. The planetarium has number of centrally located rest areas.
Animals
Animals are not allowed in the Planetarium; however guide/assistance dogs are permitted.
