New Dome - sharp and adventurous

Our iconic dome has undergone an adventurous transformation. Northern Europe's largest enclosing dome - sharp visualization in 8K and with an unparalleled sound.

The Planetarium Dome has been completely renovated with significant support from

Augustinus Fonden, Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond, Knud Højgaards Fond, Novo Nordisk Fonden, Thomas B. Thriges Fond og Villum Fonden.

Reopening and COVID-19

COVID-19 still holds its firm grip on Denmark, and it is important that it is safe and secure to visit the Planetarium. Therefore, we regularly follow the recommendations of the National Board of Health and the Ministry of Culture.

We have implemented a comprehensive COVID-19 program which contains hand disinfection throughout the house, extra cleaning, plexiglass protection, marking of distance, physical distancing signs, sign notification on used chairs – and as an added precaution, we use UV disinfection lamps on toilets, exhibition screens, chairs, audio guides, headsets etc.

… And if you have forgotten your face mask at home, it is possible to buy one in the store.

We take care of each other – you can safely visit the Planetarium.

We are looking forward to welcoming you.
