It is important that it is safe and secure to visit the Planetarium, and we regularly follow the recommendations of the National Board of Health and the Ministry of Culture to reduce the risk of the spread of infection.

COVID-19 guidelines

Covid passport
The Planetarium is required to ask all guests aged 16 and above to present a Covid passport as well as a publicly issued ID (health card, passport or driving license). A negative PCR test must not be older than 96 hours (4 days) upon your time of visit. A negative quick test must not be older than 72 hours (3 days) upon your time of visit.

If you received your first vaccination within 14 days of your visit, you must still present a negative COVID-19 test as well as a publicly issued ID (health card, passport or driving license).

If you are exempt from the requirement for tests and Covid passport, you must present documentation for this as well as a publicly issued ID (health card, passport or driving license).

Face masks can be purchased at the store, if you forgot to bring your own. The mask is type llR and complies with the applicable requirements in accordance with EU legislation. Read about the disposable mask here.

We keep an eye out that we do not exceed our maximum number of guests of 205 people in the exhibition.

Group tours are limited to 10 guests, including one facilitator, according to the authorities’ instructions.

During planetarium shows and movie screenings, visitors are placed with a minimum of one chair distance between each group.

At the same time, we encourage our guests to limit physical contact and keep their distance.

We have installed hand disinfection containers in several places in the exhibition and at the entrance and exit to the Dome Hall.

For disinfection of 3D glasses, audio guide equipment and headsets, we have purchased a UV BENCH from the company Efsen, which with UV light removes over 99% of COVID-19 and other similar viruses and bacteria.

Cinemas surfaces (seats and armrests) as well as all common contact surfaces in the audience areas are continuously disinfected with a hand-held UV lamp so that the spread of bacteria and viruses is reduced. Read more about disinfection of bacteria and viruses using UV light at

We also provide extra cleaning of toilets and disinfection.
